Recruiting Account Executive/Career Services Officer

College Algebra Instructor

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
 The person selected will be expected to: Organize and teach hybrid math classes including but not limited to college algebra.  Course syllabi and outlines are already developed.  Facilitate student learning by working to develop every student's abilities.  Teach courses as assigned to meet student needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications for instructors at Stanbridge College:

Master's Degree in mathematics.  Ability to teach students how to solve equations and inequalities; understand the basic properties of functions; analyze and perform operations on polynomial and rational functions; analyze and perform operations on exponential and logarithmic functions; perform operations with complex numbers.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference may be given to applicants with: Previous teaching, especially with eCollege platform.

REQUIRED DUTIES:
 Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of college students.

LOCATION:
The first class meeting is on campus, the remaining class meetings are online.  Instructor must be local to Orange County, California.

If the applicant is selected for an interview, the Screening Committee will be looking for evidence of an eager, energetic individual with a sincere interest in and understanding of the needs of the college student. The individual must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to develop rapport with students and staff. The individual must possess the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with students and colleagues and demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Faculty Positions

Stanbridge College, the premier private, technical college in Southern California, is seeking instructors for the following online general education courses:

Instructors must meet the following requirements:

♦ Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the field.
♦ Possess a bachelor's degree with course work related to teaching assignment.
♦ Have prior teaching experience in a college or university.
