Multi-Term NBCOT Exam Preparation
Stanbridge has an extremely high rate of successful licensure for its programs. This is due to our unyielding commitment to our students’ preparation. Our Occupational Therapy Assistant program includes cumulative review and exit exams in terms 1, 2, and 3 followed by a comprehensive end-of-program review and NBCOT COTA exam preparation. Stanbridge College continuously provides top-of-the-line examination preparation materials and courses to assist students in successfully completing their exam. These services are provided at no additional charge to our students.
Personal Netbook Computer with 3D Anatomy
In today’s medical care industry, employers want their therapists to be as technologically skilled as they are clinically skilled. Every student in our Occupational Therapy Assistant program will receive a netbook computer loaded with 3D Anatomy software, theirs to keep. This is an invaluable learning tool and is a unique benefit to choosing Stanbridge College.
Professional Occupational Therapy Skills Lab
The Stanbridge OT Skills Lab is a student resource designed to offer exposure to the kinds of equipment, tools, and environment in which our graduates will be working. The OT Skills Lab gives students access to a multitude of exercise equipment, adaptive equipment, mobility devices, therapeutic activities, positioning devices, physical agent modalities, and home-simulation areas, where clinical therapy skills can be developed. Stanbridge also has a professional clinical Nursing Skills Lab with 10 hospital beds, hybrid simulation mannequins and the most up-to-date supplies and equipment. With both the OT and Nursing Skills Lab our students can learn to perform occupational therapy in realistic settings.
