The total number of credits required to be granted to the Master of Science in Nursing degree is 48.
All nursing core courses are required to be completed by all students. Students may choose to specialize in either Nursing Educator or Nursing Executive Electives to complete the rest of the required 48 credits. MS in Nursing degree courses can be taken in a non-sequential order with the exception of the capstone/Directed Research project. All students are required to complete a Capstone or Directed Research project at the end of their MS in Nursing program.

A Master of Science in Nursing with an executive specialization will prepare you for administrative and leadership roles in the healthcare field. Nursing Executive Certification Preparation
Graduates of the Masters of Science in Nursing Executive program are eligible to take the Nursing Executive or Nursing Executive Advanced certification from the American Nursing Credentialing Center. To learn more visit the ANCC online.
