RN-BSN Admissions Requirements:

• You must have a current, unencumbered U.S RN licensure
• Associate Degree (Associate of Arts or Associate of Science) program from an accredited institution or equivalent coursework

Applications Process:

Stanbridge College accepts applications on an open enrollment basis. To apply, please follow the following steps:

• Complete the application form.
• Send all Official Transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended to Stanbridge College attention: Registrar

RN to BSN Credits

The total number of credits required to be granted the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is 180 of which 90 credits can be transferred for prior coursework from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing Program. 90 quarter credit hours must be completed in the Stanbridge College RN-BSN program.

RN to BSN degree courses can be taken in a non-sequential order with the exception of the MED3010 Pathophysiology courses.

Transfer Credits

Registered Nurses will receive 90 credits for an Associate Degree in Nursing. Students who have an RN license but no degree must have the specified additional education to join the program in addition to the RN license.

Stanbridge College requires specific coursework to be completed prior to admission into the RN to BSN degree program. However, most of these courses are included in your Associate Degree (Associate of Arts or Associate of Science) program from an accredited institution.
